Real loci of rational Fano threefolds

From the classification of real rational surfaces established by Comessatti at the beginning of the 20th century, one obtains the following striking characterisation of real rational surfaces: a geometrically rational real surface is rational if and only if its real locus is nonempty and connected. The analogous statement fails in higher dimensions. In this talk, we investigate the real loci of ge
