Dynamical convexity introduced by Hofer, Wysocki and Zehnder is a homological version of convexity of contact manifolds that plays an important role in symplectic dynamics and topology. We shall motivate dynamical convexity and a stronger version of dynamical convexity using algebraic geometry and give examples.
